When I export a report to Excel using the hosted version of F/E, the Blackbaud server still uses an outdated version of Excel. It is way past time to upgrade!
Hi April, thanks for the additional feedback and I just left you a voicemail so we can connect and discuss this more. I did some testing, and I am seeing the limitation to ~16k rows when selecting the "Export to Excel" button, while the regular "Export" option to Excel 2007 does include all the rows. Look forward to discussing this further.
We are new to FE and just learned this too - unacceptable, really.....
David, we are concerned about Query, which is NOT yet in NXT. The database query uses Excel 3.0 which is so old, it only exports 16k rows. Why can't it be swapped out for the most current version of Excel? The workaround for 2007 is inefficient and cumbersome.
Thanks, Greg. Appreciate the suggestion and we resolved this when we converted reports into the web view of Financial Edge NXT. Please let us know if you have any additional suggestions about this.
Looks like this needs a refresh. Excel version is old again and can't be copied from
