We budget all accounts at the project level and we use current year actual to forecast the remainder of the current year and to budget the next year. It would be really helpful to download our current year actual information into excel in the same format that is used in the Budget Creator Excel App (see format in the attachment). This will make is super easy to get the information out to our directors to review and make changes, and then easily transfer the information into the excel file of the Budget Creator to upload to Blackbaud. Using the current Income statement reports, the projects are always nested under the account number and it takes me many hours to reformat the report to get the account number and project on the same line (like it is in the budget creator).
