Until some time in early 2020, in a hosted environment, the Export to Excel button in Query Results would invoke a hosted version of Excel. Now it invokes the user's local copy of Excel. But when it does, the results don't show up in Excel for quite a while, roughly 7-10 minutes in my experience today. I'll be using the File/ Export option until this is fixed.
