I don't find this new "Create Journal Entry Batch" feature to be near as efficient as the old FE import function.   First, it relies on us having to copy a worksheet into another worksheet (i.e. the create batch worksheet).  Just don't understand why you created something outside the system.  We are trying to get out of Excel not rely on it  more.  Second, this new Create Journal Entry Batch template won't allow us to have any blank lines (lines with no $).  It says we have to go delete them .  With the old import function, you could have lines with no dollar amounts, it would simply ignore them .  So now you have to go down maybe hundreds of lines of journal entry to delete those with no dollar amounts.  Could be many many of extra clicks and deletes, to remove something that the old import feature simply ignored.  More wasted time.

I need help with learning how to import journal entries in Excel into FE.  Where can I get help with this?  I tried Chat, but they got very snide with their comments and I exited the chat after 45 minutes of getting no where.

    Hi Mario,

We actually have an Excel add-in live now in the Microsoft Office store that is capability with Excel 2016 and 365. It makes the import process much simpler. Let us know if you have any feedback!
