Journal Entry Import - Add importing function on web-view please

Currently there's no way to import excel data into journal entry on web-view. On database view, you can import any transaction into your journal entry, but web-view doesn't have this function and I need to go back to database view if I need to upload data.

The batch creator tool has not been useful for us; there is a lot of manual entry involved. Upvoting this for improvment!

Yes - please add back the import feature for JE transactions. The Batch Creator tool works, but only for new batches; and, further, it is extremely slow and typically times out when I'm trying to "submit" from the JE Creator. This isn't a positive change from the database view.

I believe they mean there is no feature to upload into an existing journal entry batch. When using the current excel plug in, it creates a new batch.

The functionality of the add-in does not match with the database view. Is there a plan to improve and/or implement a better solution?

The Journal Entry Excel add-in has a debit and credit columns. Our templates and large payroll journal had a TYPE column (for debit/credit) and 1 amount column. Is there a way in NXT to import the JE with that format (like we do in database)?

This will not work with the export files created by BBBM. The only way I've found to get those to work is to import in database view, using the 'distribution type' field to distinguish between debits and credits. In the batch creator debit and credit are 2 separate fields, so no way I see to bulk assign what come out of BBBM export in to this format.

Is there an update to this issue? Our organization needs to import into webview using a csv file. The journal batch creator excel add-in does not work for us as we have over 10,000 lines in some of our batches. We are not able to copy/paste into journal batch creator. W

Build an import function into web-view similar to how the function works in database-view

Are you aware of the excel add-in which allows you to import JE's?
