I really appreciate the talent staff from Blackbaud who desire FE system for Financial all aspect are perfect, organize for individual staff duty: AP,AR, GL, Treasurer. When the new system was made, company Blackbaud sent to our UUA one who can training for all 7 members in Finance to understand the new system, then he met individual AR, AP, GL, Treasurer, Controller for answer all questions and ea one received a manual books as the roll in Finance.

After training we come back to office, open computer to see all the new as the same as training, and we can work right away with new system. Thanks for excellent staff who set up system for I can work easier and faster.

Now we knew the new coming system NXT since 6 months ago but up to know I am not quite to do well all my AP duties at all, because it is not organize for each person to do in the Fin. and all the things are not set up yet. When I ask , the NXT staff adding . i am not happy at all. Now i still use my FE remote for finish my task quicker than use NXT to looking for , to try.

Some function of FE remote are disappear, no more to work on.

I have to work for 1099 but not see "mail" in vendor as in FE before at all. it is hard.

I think we still use FE is better and if we want no more paperless so just add in the way to pay via ACH, and the way to save the request payment in system instead the cabinet file , that is better. FE is good, so still keep it because it is organized for each functions AP, AR, GL etc.. just open it and see all task are there , just click and do and done.

I agree. We need the ability to insert lines in a journal entry. Sometimes we don't want a new line to be at the bottom, which is the only option in NXT at the moment. We need this feature restored by February 28, 2025.

Yes, this is a much needed feature. When entering JE like payroll, it is critical to get the entry correct. And with so many lines, it is nice to be able to copy a previous entry and work from there. But if you cannot organize the GL numbers, you spend more time trying to find the number you need or even missing it. You are almost better off starting from scratch. I hope this is added to an update sooner than later.

I Agree. We need the ability to add a line anywhere withing the journal entry. This is very important.

How can this possibly be a "future consideration"? It is absolutely critical, and it's mind-boggling that we have to ask for something so basic. I would swear that Blackbaud did absolutely no user testing, and if they did, it was NOT with people who had expertise with Database's functionality. Why can't I move down JE lines with keystrokes? Why can't I globally change JEs? The amount of functionality this NXT conversion has removed is absolutely ridiculous.

Agreed. At the minimum, we should be able to rearrange the lines within the journal entry. The only "workaround" I have found is to copy multiple rows to "push" them to the bottom and then delete the original ones to bring everything in line. This is not an acceptable strategy and is extremely time consuming.

I'm hoping this issue gets resolved ASAP.

Wow, I assumed I was being obtuse and couldn't figure out how to rearrange the lines of a JE in NXT. This is such an obvious feature. Being required unable to copy a JE from a previous month because it needs a new line inserted at the top is obscene. Not being able to insert new lines to my JE makes me want to insert expletives here. X''[

This is a must for our daily processing to keep data in date order. We requested it last year and as of today nothing has been institued so we are forced to access the database which is being taken away in October. I don't understand why this has not been addressed and fixed NOW!!!

This is critical! Agreed it doesn't make sense that such an important feature was left out of NXT! We use insert a line every day! Please do not get rid of the Database side until you have this fixed!

How does Blackbaud not realize how important this is? I swear they must have done so little end-user solicitation because they left so much critical functionality from database behind. It's a must-have and should have been a no brainer. It makes it impossible to compare JE supporting documentation to the JE entry if any lines need to be added. Why is this for "future consideration" and not pending?

Please!! Many of my journal entries are dozens if not hundreds of lines. I can't imagine having to redo that many lines because I missed something three lines down.

Please! Seems like something that is so simple that should absolutely be there. My JEs are a mess and all over the place!

Agreed that this is a needed feature that was lost in NXT. Need to insert a line in the middle of a JE.

Being able to insert a line is critical for me. I expect NXT to have at a minimum, the same functionality as database view, if not more. To have less is a huge disappointment.

Please restore this feature! I am not looking forward to doing journal entries in Nxt because of this!
