Tabbing Cell Up or Down within the Journal Entry

Currently in DB View you can click Control Up/Down Arrow to move vertically in the journal entry. This function does not work in NXT. You can only tab over horizontally.

We create 80+ line Journal Entries in FE DB View and then later enter the debits and credits, and/or descriptions, etc.

Not having this functionality in NXT is incredibly time consuming. Using the mouse to move from row 8 to 9 to 10 etc. requires slows down the journal entry process greatly when you have LONG journal entries.


I've brought this up before, but I'm getting asked this by staff.

Please advise why this functionality isn't available in NXT and if it's possible to be resolved. Thx!

    We have extremely long journal entries also. Using fast in the database view is so much easier and time efficient. It is also very time consuming and difficult to review long journal entries when you have to click on pages to see the whole thing. The database version is much more user friendly since we can just scroll through the entire journal entry.

    With out the ability to do this entering a 120 line journal entry would take up to much time of my day.
