The credit through the expense module, comes over as a Bank Adjustment. It does not link to the vendor records. This makes it difficult to find the credits and the vendor records are overstated. Those "Bank Adjustments" should be treated the same as credit memos and show in the vendor records.

The result would be the same. If there is a credit issued, it is for a particular vendor. It should be reflected on that vendor. We run vendor lists of all money paid to the vendors. If the credit memos are not linked, then we are overstating the amounts that have been paid to the vendors.

Thanks so much for the feedback. For instances where it's the Credit Card company that issues the credit, for example, cash back or instances of fraud - would the desired outcome be the same? Creating a credit memo? And if so, what would be the expected Vendor for those?
