When entering debit/credit amounts, you have to wait for the $$-sign to populate in the field before you can enter the amount. This slows down the process of data entry and causes many typos to appear. (In the DB view, the $$-sign populates after you enter the amount.)
Data entry in NXT is so cumbersome compared to database view - my major beef is that you can no longer shortcut enter a date in a past month without slashes - so instead of 080524 I have to pick out 08/05/24 which is a pain. Also, I try to remember to enter a zero before typing in debit/credit amounts, which addresses the $$ stupidity.
This trips me up in A/P invoice entry as well. (This doesnt happen with other financial software).
Yes, it does slow down the process because when you enter a number you have to enter the first number twice to get passed that $-sign it populates, hence the errors if you forget.
