Because of our varied funding streams, there are a few employees who's payroll table includes many, many pay types. Processing payroll for these employees usually results in the program crashing until we reduce the pay types. After contacting support, they informed me that this is expected behavior and that FE is not designed to handle thousands of lines in the distribution table. As more nonprofits look to diversify their sources of funding, this issue will be reported more and more. The computing resources on neither the server or workstations are being taxed to a degree that should prevent us from processing payroll the way we would like to, thus this is a programming issue. Please fix.
Thank you.
Sure! We embarked a journey three years ago and engaged a number of industry consultants, and ultimately decided that customers were better served by a great partnership with a company that specialized in Payroll/HRIS. Over the past number of years it has become a specialty. We considered building it, or buying a company that specialized in payroll, but decided to partner with IOIPay.
As IOIPay is our premier payroll provider, and we will not be doing any further development to Payroll 7, this is being passed along to them for evaluation. On 6/18/2019 we announced that the end-of-life for Payroll 7 is estimated to occur in early 2021.
Can you explain why you will not implement?
