Transfer of searchable Alias Field information from Database view

We utilize the Alias field in database view to list the w-9 DBA of a company, we also double up the information in the first line of the address for check printing. Currently there is no way to search for or use this field in web view or search the address so there is no way for us to find DBAs. This makes using web view for AP keying impossible as many companyies are listed by their DBA on our paperwork so we cannot find the correct vendor number

    Agreed...I can't see the alias info that has been entered in DB view in NXT at all.

    Agreed that vendor search by dba would be a valuable feature carried over from database as 'alias' or a similar searchable field. Valuable because DBA name isn't always legal vendor name. Invoice name is usually dba name. Makes it difficult if nearly impossible to search NXT vendor by dba name. Our payables person has to keep a separate excel spreadsheet to reference. Added feature to search vendor by existing field "payee" or another new field specific to dba name would be extremely helpful.

    I agree. Being able to search the name and alias would be so helpful.
