To add to my other comment, there are also times that companies merge and/or buy eachother out. When this happens it would be nice to combined them to have all the history in one place.

Please reconsider adding the ability to merge vendors back into the capabilities of your software. While we take precautions to prevent this as much as possible, it is unreasonable to believe that human error doesn't exist, even with the duplicate vendor search settings.

Data cleanup is a function we need to have. Today we discovered a vendor that has two records because one has Mount Olive and the other Mt Olive. Now that we can't merge in databaseview we are stuck with two separate vendors for the same organization. Please Fix this!

We need to have the option to merge on NXT. It is silly to think there will not be errors when setting up vendors. We have all the settings on to search for duplicate vendors and they still happen.

This is extremely important with the database view going away. Without this function it would make it almost impossible to perform data cleanup. Please reconsider adding this into your pipeline of updates to NXT.
