Bring back excel exports in database

Changing the exports to save files in a separate site in tedious and adds more work to those using the financial edge database.

    Has there been any additional discussion regarding this? Something that took one click now takes 10 more. It is very frustrating and definitely moving backward!

    This has definitely added a few extra steps to some frequent actions I take in desktop view. I understand why they disabled MS Office in the hosted database, but an alternative would be adding more export options in NXT instead. As of now, I can't instantly export queries or check registers to Excel (unlike regular GL reports). That would be something for them to work on to help lessen the effect of this change. It seems like for every Desktop view function they take away, nothing is improved in NXT to replace it.

    Yes - it is very frustrating. It seems like these "updates" are bringing the system backward and not forward
