Add Check Number to search bar functionality!!!

It would be very helpful to search by check number quickly without creating a query. Common question from supervisors is what was check# (blank) for?

    You can now use Invoice filters to search for a specific payment number. This search includes the check number, EFT number, or bank draft number. On the Invoice List page in Payables, just click the Filters button and navigate to the Payment tab.

    I often am in the Invoice section of Payables when needing to look up a check number. But I would say any search bar that allows you to search into date, invoice#, payee, and description. Is there an easy way to open a invoice or even payment that we could drill down to invoice level detail? If so please advise...
