Reset the File Creation Number for bank payment upload in FE

I have encountered a limitation in FE NXT that currently cannot be resolved through existing system functionality.

The issue relates to the auto-generated sequence number embedded in the payment file submitted to the bank. Recently, we had a payment file rejected and were required to upload it a second time. After investigating, I discovered that the rejection occurred because the sequence number in the resubmitted file was identical to the number in the original file. The bank recognized the file as a duplicate payment submission and rejected it.

I searched the Knowledgebase and contacted Support; however, I was advised that the sequence number cannot be reset within the system. As a workaround, I am currently updating the sequence number manually before submitting the file. This process is time-consuming and introduces the risk of human error.

It would be extremely beneficial if FE NXT provided the ability to reset or update the sequence number within the application so that a new, unique number is automatically generated when a payment file needs to be recreated or resubmitted.

This enhancement would improve operational efficiency, reduce the risk of processing errors, and help ensure successful bank file submissions when payment files must be regenerated or resubmitted.
