We manage multiple accounts, and use specific object codes to track different expenses (food, supplies, etc.) within an account. Some time people spend over the budget in one object code and we have to move funds from other object codes in the same account to cover the costs.

In Database View, we were able to do this easily through the Budget Adjustment. The balances for the affected object codes were automatically updated, while the total budget for the account remained unchanged.

We had some trainings with FE NXT and learned that Budget Adjustments in NXT do not automatically update the final balances for the object codes. We have to manually calculate the revised amounts and enter them individually. We find this process very inconvenient and leave so much room for typos and errors. As a result, we still return to Database View to complete this task, even though our goal is to work entirely within NXT. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the same Budget Adjustment functionality that existed in Database View to NXT before you retire it. Thank you.
