We receive batches of scanned AP documents (such as employee salary advance request forms), and we would like Claude to be able to automatically create the corresponding invoices in FE NXT and attach the relevant PDF to each record without manual data entry.

Blackbaud already has a SKY API for FE NXT Payables, so the underlying infrastructure exists. We are requesting that Blackbaud expose FE NXT Payables functionality (invoice creation, vendor lookup, and document attachment) through the MCP connector so that AI tools like Claude can interact with Financial Edge NXT directly.

This would be a significant time saver for finance teams processing high volumes of AP transactions and would make the Blackbaud + Claude integration far more powerful for nonprofit accounting workflows.
