Table entry issues in web view

Managing table entries in web view is still surprisingly difficult.

  1. After marking an entry Inactive, the system will continue to display it in dropdown menus as an option to select. Why would there even be an option to make an entry "inactive", if the system will continue to show it in drop-down menus as an option that can be selected when editing records?

  2. Sort order is another problem. Currently a new entry just goes to the bottom of the list, which is especially problematic when the existing tables (from when first migrated to web view) are already in alphabetical order. Users see a list of things that ARE alphabetical, and they're not going to assume they should scroll all the way to the bottom of the drop down menu to check and see if there's an additional table entry at the bottom that's out of alphabetical order. They just won't see it, and then they select the wrong item. This should be an easy fix for Blackbaud.

Currently I'm working with table entries when editing Project records - current example is the Project Location table. But I've seen this same behavior across all types of tables and records.
