The relative range functionality is limited to having base columns that are built on fiscal periods or years. It would be nice to add the capability for a "year-to-date" report as well.
For example, we have an income statement report that we run weekly that reports "fiscal year-to-date" actuals in one column and we include a column provide actuals from the prior year through the same date last year. But currently the only way to do this is to manually edit the specific range for the column each week when generating the report. Instead I'd like to be able to set the first column as "fiscal year-to-date" and the second as either "prior year-to-date" or as a relative range that sets the is dynamically linked to the base column and just adjusts the dates as needed.
Currently if you use "Fiscal year-to-date" or "calendar year-to-date" in your base column, FENXT does let you select it as a base column, but the computed date range for the relative column do not work properly.
