changing the width of a column and having it to stay permanently

I noticed that when I widen a column to see what is written on a line item and I close it, the change that I do does not make the column to stay permanent. How do I change to column width to make it permanent?

    This is incredibly frustrating. When we implemented FE NXT this was one of the features Blackbaud pointed out - that settings, such as column widths and orders, were both sticky and user-specific. Why did that change?? It's a waste of time to have to constantly make these adjustments every time a page loads!

    Totally agree! Or change the column width in Account display to fit the entire amount. Currently it is not showing the pennies when a field is over $10M.
