When importing a Journal Entry Batch through the Creator you can receive error messages if there is an unsupported character included in the Journal Reference string. To import the Journal Reference needs to be changed in order to import. You will then need to edit the batch once imported to include all of the correct Journal References. Please vote that all characters in a text string are acceptable forms of data.
