It would be very useful to allow a range of characters for a segment code defined in a table. For example, I would like one segment to indicate either department or allocation. Our departments are 2 characters, our allocation names go up to 6 characters. In the table for the segment, I can set a short description from 2 characters up to the max of 6 characters. However, if I try to add a new account using a code from the table with less than the 6 characters, it will error and not add the account.
