Dashboards need to have ability to specify access per intended audience. We'd like to create individual user/director specific dashboards with accounts that only the intende user can see. Currently, if permission are given to dashboards, anyone with that permissions can access every account in the ledger. We need to be able to create individual, specific dashboards with limits on the accounts the receive can see.
This would be extremely beneficial for our directors to have the ability to manage their budgets in real time. We keep tight controls on our spending and a live dashboard would enable our director to view their department spending, variances, and detail by vendor on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. We would catch and contain overages in time to make a change to stay within budget.

Can the dashboards respect the user's Record Security for Accounts and Projects like Financial Reports do? We have been using the Financial Reports well and wanted to expand to include Dashboards, but the Dashboards don't take that user security into account and shows all accounts/projects instead of those it should.
