It would be useful to be able to attach documents (backup) to a credit memo just like when we enter invoices and attach documents to them.

It makes sense to attach a copy of the invoice for a credit memo, so you go back and verify what the credit was for. As Dena said it is a Credit Invoice! Also you should be able to add Credit memo through Expense Management. This way the Supervisor is aware of the credit.
I agree Credit memos should be able to add an attachment. This is a credit INVOICE!
It makes so much sense to be able to add an attachment to the credit memo like you do for an invoice!! Not sure why CM are not set up the same way. The CM should also be a choice from the Payables Menu just like Invoices & Vendors.
I have to currently attach the credit memo file to every invoice that it is applied to. It would certainly make more sense to have it attached to the credit memo so it isn't forgotten as a document reference to the reduction of the invoice amount.
I agree - why do credit memos not have the same functionality???
