When you create a user with supervisor rights in FE, you can check Use Windows Authentication and save and close the user with no problem. However, if you go back and look at the user, the system forces a check next to Use FE7 Authentication -Thte check is added after you close it! The check is now grayed out and there is no password, even though that would have been required if you had checked the FE7 Authentication box yourself.
The result is that with no knowledge to the person that set up the user account, a Use FE7 Authentication is added to the user profile with no password attached. This is problematic because the system hates that there is no password there. If you don't catch this and add a password, that user will be plagued with errors.
I only want to use Windows Authentication, but I have been told by a bb agent that both authentications are required for users with supervisor rights.
If that is necessary, then please have a pop up when you try to save a user with supervisor rights that tells you that you must also check FE7 Authentication and then the standard pop up that also requires you to enter the password before saving and closing.
