In the webinar yesterday, I didn’t mention it, but this has been a problem before and when I contacted the help desk they said it could not be displayed.  But, if they are wanting to improve on an aspect of FE I have a suggestion that I thought of when they said they are improving the steps of deposits and applying payments in FE A/R. 

We currently use the A/R module to generate invoices and then when cash is received, we apply the cash through the A/R module to ensure a history within that system instead of just making a G/L entry in the G/L module.  When we post the payment/deposit in A/R module, we currently cannot load ‘notes’ that would display on the physical batch detail report.  There is a notes/attribute screen within the A/R module and I tried to load the description of the notes we would like to see on the physical batch detail report.  The system accepts the ‘notes’, but doesn’t flow through to the batch detail report.   

Since FE is  revamping the deposit/payment process (seems a little cumbersome currently), as discussed in the webinar yesterday, is there any way notes we load in the A/R module when cash received is processed so they  could filter through to the G/L batch detail report and show on the ‘notes’ line when posted?
