Printable journal entries

We need to be able to print journal entries after they are posted.  Right now there is no way to navigate back to the batch summary that pops up after posting.  It would be nice to have the Batch Detail Report in the Reports section as well.

Another deficiency that anyone familiar with accounting, internal controls, and audit procedures would have build into the system from the beginning. As it is now, we have to export to Adobe and save the Batch report in order to reprint as needed. What a waste of time and effort.

I agree. As part of internal controls the preparer of the JE prints the Batch Detail Report with supporting backup for the reviewer to review before they post it. I have to go to Database view to print it. Not efficient and then I start working in Database view all over again.

I agree that this must be a printable report from within NXT,

I try to work in NXT as much as possible.  It is very frustrating to not be able to print posted journal entries in NXT.  When JEs are posted from SMART tuition, the JE is posted and I have to open the database view to print the JE.  We should be able to print the JE directly in FE NXT.

We need to be able to print.  We need the approval information to print and all data that would be on the original entry like it does in FE.

I agree with needed a print capability in NXT.  Exporting to excel doesn't print clean or give the same detail as printing from the database view.

It would help, but why not have a printable view too?

We are planning on adding the ability to export the JE from the batch, is this a suitable alternative?
