I know you can mass select a whole line for adding or deleting more than one line at a time. I would be helpful to be able to mass select one column (such as the date) when entering a journal entry. This helps when you realize that you entered the wrong date all the way down instead of copying one column at a time & pasting it.
I didn't even realize that I had posted this before but here I am 7 yrs later and still don't know how to do this! :(
I use the defaults every day but that doesn't work "after-the-fact" when you are copying a recurring entry with different numbers and a different date. That seems like extra work & we have Excel 2013. It doesn't look like it's compatible.
Hi Lisa!
If I am understanding correctly, you should be able to resolve this by either using Defaults in the Journal Entry or using our new Financial Edge NXT Excel add-in available for NXT. This helps you use all the capabilities available in Excel and push the Journal Entry from Excel into Financial Edge with the click of a button. Just search for Financial Edge NXT on the Microsoft store to look for our add-in that is available with Excel 2016 and 365. Thanks!
