Having this functionality back would avoid lengthy, multi-step corrections in the event that the Reverse Post Date was not back-dated. A lot of people don't pay attention or understand the difference between the Void Date and Reverse Post Date or they completely miss the latter thinking they have already changed the correct date with the Void Date. Also, people are human and mistakes happen. You have to allow for the correction of such mistakes in an efficient way that still maintains data integrity. This functionality does not compromise data integrity and eliminates a LOT of steps.

My latest example of a situation where I was asked to assist on such a correction is attached. Had I been able to update the Reverse Post Date like we were able to in the Database view, I could have saved myself like 8 steps.
