Currently journal entries can be edited after being approved but before being posted. You can manually update the status to "pending approval" if you wish to have someone look at it again before being posted, but this doesn't happen automatically. It doesn't make any sense audit trail-wise for someone to be able to change an approved entry in between being approved and posted. This gives the approver a false sense of security, since our approver had no idea that it could be edited after they approved it. Definitely a loop-hole that needs to be closed!
