A new Fixed Asset module comes pre-loaded with 15 asset classes set up for MACRS depreciation method that we are unable to modify, delete, or deactivate. According to KB Article 203260 after 4/1/2024 depreciation methods other than straight-line and do not depreciate can't be used. So why does the software still get turned on with these 15 unusable values? Blackbaud needs to remove these records from all new Fixed Asset systems before the implementation occurs.
