Accounts Receivable Statements ability to summarize open invoices on 1 line with total rather than split up into several line items

Showing several different lines for 1 invoice rather than showing the invoice number and total amount due is very confusing to customers. It is very dysfunctional. I opened a case regarding this matter and the only option to purchase an add on. It appears that basic functions are not an option with Blackbaud.
