Journal Entry Attachment Rules

After a Journal Entry is posted, attachments should not be allowed to be edited or deleted. Documents that are attached at the time the Journal Entry is posted is an important document for audit and record retention purposes.

    Fully support not allowing attachments within a posted Journal Entry to be edited or deleted. However, maintaining the ability to add attachments would be extremely helpful after the Journal Entry has been posted.
