I was pleased to find that I could change a gl account to prevent posting after a certain date. However, if I am working in two different fiscal years (2025 and 2026) and want to prevent entries in the new year (2026) and am still entering items in the old year (2025), I don't like that you have to uncheck "Prevent data entry", post the entry in 2025 and then recheck "Prevent data entry". It creates a lot of work and seems like entering the date should allow for entering data and posting prior to the date without having to uncheck "Prevent data entry".
