Allow the account number to be shown next to each transaction in the general ledger detail report. This will allow users to get expanded use of pivot tables in excel.

Currently you would have to add column to copy and paste account numbers, which is a cumbersome task. If the account number is on each line you can add column for years, periods, etc. and do anything with a pivot table. It allows you to manipulate the data so much more than the current report so I am not sure why this hasn't been implemented (it can be done in Quickbooks and cheaper software so why not in Blackbaud).

    Please, this is just so basic. Why would this not be part of the data architecture? I have worked with practically every accounting system that exists over the last 20 years and not having this is unheard of. It costs us valuable time to have to manually populate this so we can reconcile to other subledgers. Please help.
