List of Reports Processing

I'm not opposed to the new system of report running, but it would be helpful to have some record of which reports are currently processing in order to eliminate duplicate reports - which just take up unnecessary bandwidth - and overall provide more efficient planning in the reporting process. We have some reports that we know take upwards of an hour, and it would be nice to know how far along we are in that process.

I agree with this. I liked the blue box at the bottom that showed that the report was actually running. A report queue would also work, but waiting and being in the dark is not a good solution.

I have been waiting 20 minutes for my reports to run. Is Blackbaud really running the reports or not? Do I need to run them again? At least the old way, I knew that they were being run. I could have already run and downloaded all my reports the old way.

In addition - it's very frustrating that when I run a report, don't download it (for whatever reason) and later need to go back to it, I have to run it again. A reports queue could also solve this problem, enabling users to go back to earlier reports without needing to run them from scratch.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what the user who posted the idea intends, but the system should have a report queue. The queue would show all the jobs currently processing and the ones in line to follow it, and an administrator should be able to manage that queue - including the ability to kill reports that were run in error or are otherwise clogging the queue.
