In the old Web Base View version of Blackbaud when you entered an invoice in a vendor and the invoice number was the same number as a previous month or previous year a box titled Duplicate Search Results would appear stating it is a duplicate invoice, and it would list all previous same invoice numbers paid under that vendor. Having that Duplicate Search Results box allowed one to verify that a payment had not been missed or to go back and verify that an invoice number was not entered incorrectly. Hopefully, there is a way to add that same feature to NXT View, because it is currently not there, so one can continue to verify that invoices have not been missed or entered incorrectly.
