Canadian users who bank with TD, or any other Canadian bank requiring 1464 byte EFT file upload, are not able to edit their originator short name. This is automatically populated using the first 15 characters of our database (legal) name, however, for many organizations their legal name contains special characters or spaces which means that their EFT transmission file must be edited manually in order to be accepted by the bank. The originator short name should be an editable field, much like the originator ID is editable at the point of EFT setup.
