When I enter gifts into RE and then post them into FE, I think they should be available as payments to choose from when I'm entering deposits into FE. Instead, I'm having to enter the gifts again into the deposit. I think gifts should show up in a checklist for the deposit, like deposits show up in a checklist for the bank rec. Beyond that, when I enter a deposit and then go to enter the gifts, I have to choose the credit account. I already picked the debit and credit accounts in RE, where I originally entered the gift. Why am I doing this again? It's redundant at best and possibly messing up my financial statements at worst.
