We need to have a report type with which we can build a custom report that allows both reporting on multiple accounting periods (for period comparisons, like the Income Statement report type) as well as the option in Content to "Show distribution for these characteristics:", which includes including, grouping, and sorting by transaction-code-1 through 5 (like the General Ledger report type allows).
