There needs to be add just a Save button option so you don't have save and close each time.

Also, since NXT is a web based version and the tab on browser can be closed accidently when in other tabs on the browser it would be a good idea if the website could be set to automatically save while you are in bank reconciling. This would avoid having everything you've just done in the reconciling not to be lost if there is an accidental closing of the tab or browser. When it is accidentally closed generally you have no way to know where you have to restart from in reconciling. Unexpected interruptions while reconciling that close FE NXT will bring much frustration and additional time completing bank reconciliations.
