Reports in Tabular Format

If you're removing database view, you should add the option to print/produce a report in tabular format just like in database view.

I use this feature a lot in the Fixed Asset module and the reports in NXT always gives me information for one asset in 2 different rows.

      • FE NXT's current reporting formats are inadequate and need to be expanded (or perhaps, simplified?)

      This should be a priority!

There needs to be the option to export EVERY report as a flat data file.

By flat data file I mean each record should have only one line, or every line related to a record should have the relevant information like Client ID, or Project ID. Some people refer to it as Tabular format.

Especially A/R Aging reports. Even in Blackbaud's Excel data only format, the fields do not include searchable information without doing a large amount of risky or cumbersome data manipulation.

This seems like a basic concept in modern data-driven Accounting--so why do we only have reporting in a format that was meant to be printed on paper?!

Flat data files allow accountants and analysts to use Excel in the ways it was meant to, quickly and efficiently.

Please add flat/tabular reporting options ASAP!!

I agree with this as well. We use this option a lot in Fixed Assets and really need this option in formatting.
