We use mid-month depreciation and if an asset's acquisition date is after the 15th, no depreciation is calculated. The next month we have to go in and put in zero depreciation for that month so depreciation will calculate for the current month. It would be nice if depreciation would put 0 in for that month because it was run on that month even though it is zero.
Completely agree. I've been using FENXT since 2020 (we also follow mid-month method) and have never had this issue until 09/30/2023. Seems ridiculous that a system of this caliber and expense can't figure out how to include $0.00 in the first month based on acquisition date. Seems like a change was made, because again, I never had to do this step before from 2020-2023.
