Right now, the "post date" refers to the actual day I did the work of approving or posting - but it has nothing to do with the date that the journal entry or batch hit the GL. All accountants/auditors want to know information based on the GL posting date. For example - they always want a list of all journal entries that posted to the GL during the fiscal year. Right now, I am not able to filter by a GL posting date.
