In June of 2019, Blackbaud announced we will no longer be developing Payroll functionality in the Financial Edge. We announced Paycor as our first premier partner, we currently have an integration with them for general ledger batch files (for the results of a payroll run, debits to expense, credits to liabilities, etc), and are currently working on version 2 of this. We also provide knowledge base tips around best practices, and exporting data out of your Payroll 7 system in preparation for a conversion to the payroll provider of your choice.

We will provide one additional year-end tax update in December 2020, including the federal tax table for 2021. At a to-be-announced date in 2021 (which we will announce this year), we will no longer support Payroll 7. Your Account Executive can give you more details, and it's a good idea to plan your conversion early.
