Once we post our journal entries, etc., we can no longer make changes to them. If we find a mistake, we have to make a new journal entry to correct it, rather than fixing the original entry.

In order to reconcile the bank statement through Financial Edge NXT, we have to first post all our entries before reconciling. If we made a mistake, then we have to add a correcting entry and also post it in order to correct the reconciliation.

I would prefer to be able to reconcile the bank statement before posting my journal entries, etc. I have multiple banks, and each needs to be carefully proofed before posting. If I could reconcile through Financial Edge NXT before posting, that would save a lot of time and effort.
